Jennifer Wagner-Worley

Owner / Trainer

Jennifer Wagner-Worley made a name for herself from the age of seven, competing successfully in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation up and down the West Coast. Her success as an amateur led to the start of her professional career in 2004 as the assistant trainer to Shannon Hendrickson of Signature West Farms in Spanaway, Washington. Under Shannon’s guidance, Jenn began teaching, riding and competing client horses in all three rings, including professional hunter divisions and derbies. She also took on the additional role as Barn Manager, overseeing a crew of working students and ensuring the facility was clean and well run. Jenn’s tireless hard work eventually saw her step into the Grand Prix ring with her heart horse, Corlord. In 2010, she moved to Oregon City, Oregon as the assistant trainer to Megan Jordan of Venture Farm. During her time there, Jenn honed her skills in the upper-level jumpers and appeared at some of the biggest shows on the West Coast, caring for and riding high level performance horses, including FEI contenders.

With the launch of her own training program in 2014, operating out of the beautiful Hillcrest Stables in Woodinville, WA, Jenn quickly led her students to countless wins and year end awards, culminating in a Top 25 finish at USEF Pony Finals in Kentucky. During this time she also volunteered with a local saddle club, becoming a board member and helping organize their shows. As a local to Gig Harbor, Jenn rebranded and moved her business south in 2017, taking a special interest in developing young horses and sales. This allowed her time to work as a veterinary technician with Tacoma Equine Hospital, immensely furthering her knowledge and understanding of horse care and equine management. With a friend, she also created Rainier Equestrian Events, a horse show management business and USHJA Outreach show series..

Narrows Equestrian has a strong foundation in horsemanship, with a great focus on meticulous care of every horse. Jenn strives to produce not just great riders, but real horsemen. She tailors her training program to each client, helping put each person in the best position to reach their goals. Teaching is her true passion, and having studied Early Childhood Education at Pacific Lutheran University makes her uniquely qualified to instruct children. Jenn regularly attends clinics, seminars, and classes, believing that continued growth and education are essential to providing exceptional horse care and a premier training program.

Beezy – Found roaming the streets at 12 weeks old, Beezie found her way to Sara through the Humane Society; imagine our surprise when the DNA test revealed that she was a purebred American Bulldog. You’ll find her most places Sara goes, from the barn to horse shows. Her main farm responsibilities are keeping the gooses & coyotes away, and announcing visitors. Shy around new people, there’s nothing better than the first time she asks for scratches. She’s often told she’s too cute for her own good!
